Roses 101 Seminar

Learn how to select, plant, and maintain America’s favorite flower.

Master Gardener, Dr. Mary McKnight-Seltzer will demonstrate pruning techniques and will provide handouts including: “The Easiest Roses to Grow,” and  “A Month-by-Month To Do Guide for Roses.”  Dr. Mary McKnight-Seltzer has a Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Doctoral degree in Education from Immaculata University and is an experienced educator. She will discuss solutions to all types of rose problems and designing with roses by adding them to your existing beds or starting anew. A Question & Answer session will follow for attendees with specific rose concerns.
