The workshop addresses strategies for selecting, pairing plant companions that will thrive in easy to create and care for environments and will also describe unique challenges presented by participants choice of containers for planting and light, water and feeding requirements. Guest speaker, Julie Phillips, has been a Montgomery County Cooperative Extension Master Gardener since 2007 and has played in the soil since she was a child.”

NOTE: This is a make-and-take class. Fee covers all material needed to create a planter in a 12″Hx12″Lx12″W pot (provided). Attendees may choose to bring their own pot with drainage holes; however, if the pot holds more than 1 cubic foot of soil, additional material will need to be purchased.
